Revolutionary Diamond Publishing, LLC was established to birth authors. Writing, publishing, and coaching services are available to help consumers reach their dreams. However, founder Jenny Thelwell is a dreamer herself and she's always wanted to be more than ordinary.
​
Jenny Thelwell wrote Pressure Point as a memoir because of struggles that could have prevented her from achieving her goals, yet she pushed through. Pressure Point describes how to she turned her adversities into triumphs. Therefore, the recipient of this scholarship will go to a high school student who has the tenacity to rise above adversity with a "keep going" attitude. This scholarship is for a student who's fire ignites even more with every NO in the search for one YES.

Finally, Jenny is a proud advocate and ambassador for Alabama State University. The University was and continues to be been a huge part of her success. She loves her alma mater and is currently serving as the Vice President of the South Florida-ASU Alumni Chapter. The student who receives this scholarship will represent the university with pride and will be mentored by Jenny throughout his/her college career.

The scholarship was funded to provide resources for students who even under hardships, continue to strive. Our goal is to provide resources partnerships with other agencies to magnify community impact. Jenny will also serve as the liaison and advocate between the student and the university.

Purpose: To identify high school seniors who possess a strong desire for academic excellence, leadership positions in student organizations, and plan on attending Alabama State University in Montgomery, Alabama in the Fall 2022 semester as a full-time student.
​
Reward: The student selected will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship for financial assistance.
​
Qualifications: Candidates must meet the following criteria to qualify for this award:
​
- must be a first-generation college student
- participate in extracurricular acitivities (sports, student government, community service, etc.)
- must agree to mentorship
- participate in the South FL-ASU Alumni Chapter meeting twice a year
- must have accepted and commited to ASU in the FALL of 2022
- write a narrative of no more than 500 words, discussing the following:
HOW DO YOU PLAN TO OVERCOME THE CHALLENGES YOU MAY FACE IN PURSUIT OF THIS DEGREE?

*Application must be submitted by April 15, 2022 at 11:59pm
*Minimum GPA of 2.5
*A financial need statement is not required, but may assist in the selection process.
